Ipoh City Council has been recognized as the first Local Authority in Malaysia to obtain the Certificate of Compliance for SAGA, System of Accounting and Finance.

Ipoh Mayor Datuk Zamri Man said the recognition obtained on July 18 illustrates that the financial statements MBI can be provided with faster, accurate, updated and integrity by using accounting code assigned to strengthen the accounting and financial management system in line with the objectives of SAGA.

Implementation, Monitoring and Compliance Standard Accounting System for Government Agency "Standard Accounting System for Government Agencies" (SAGA) is consistent with the application of Accountant General Circular No. 2 of 2015.
